Why
After a rare opportunity to live in the gorgeous Alaskan wilderness for a few years, we were humbled to relearn the value of hard work and experience the satisfaction of getting our hands dirty. Our appreciation for craftsmanship and attention to detail was restored after being so accustomed to the days of second-day shipping only a few clicks away. The family called, and we ventured back to a fixer-upper property on the East Coast. We endured dizzying conversations with box store employees, super-inflated quotes from companies large and small, and an overall lack of communication or personalized approach. Why was a simple call back so far out of reach?
